My name is William Apel and am a full time student at Arizona State University. I am in the school of Bacholor of Indisciplinary Studies and am studying business and communications. I am working on marketing for Anheuser Busch in the future. I currently bartend in Scottsdale, Arizona at a nightclub called Axis Radius.  I am very educated in event planning and would love to be able to put together large events for charity work or for large corporations.  I am a proud Sigma Chi Alum and will be for life.

Business Courses:



ECN 111 Macroeconomics: Basic macroeconomic analysis. Economic institutions and factors determining income levels, price levels, and employment levels.



ECN 112 Microeconomics: Basic microeconomic analysis. Theory of exchange and production, including the theory of the firm.



ACC 230 Uses of Accounting Information I: Introduces the uses of accounting information focusing on the evolution of the business cycle and how accounting information is used for internal and external purposes.



REA 380 Real Estate Fundamentals: Real estate for the student/consumer with an emphasis on the applied aspects of each area of real estate specialization. Not open to Real Estate majors.



FIN 380 Personal Financial Management: Dynamic analysis of personal financial planning, including time value of money, stock and bond investment, and retirement and estate planning.



MKT 394 Special Topics: Class for non marketing majors to get a look at the marketing side of the world.



CIS 200 Basic Computer Information: Developing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access skills. Gaining common knowledge about computers in the workplace and how to work with them.
 
Communication Courses:

 
COM 100 Introduction to Human Communication:  Developing communication skills by listening and non verbal communication.  Basic communication skills are learned in this course.
 
COM 225 Public Speaking:  Learn to speak in front on large groups and how to speak appropriately. 
 
COM 312 Communication Conflict:  Being able to defuse conflict in communication and how to get your thought or point across appropriately.
 
COM 316 Gender Communication:  Learn how much different men and women are in their communication techniques and how to overcome the differences.
